UPDATED, or THE NAPKIN IS WRONG

Post originally titled, “What Systemic Racism in the Media Looks Like.” My apologies. Clearly this is MUCH more complicated than the napkin allows for (feel silly writing that sentence but alas – please see tweets below).

A photo that shows that March 4's Chicago Tribune's Red Eye spending 370 words on one white person shot and 23 words on 4 black people shot.[I saw this on Facebook, courtesy of Jaclyn Friedman. Facebook says that the original poster is Mar Curran Iola Ella.]
