Boston College Students Schedule Walk to Finish Boston Marathon (Mashable):

A Facebook event — titled “Boston Marathon: The Last 5” — is encouraging runners and supporters to walk from the college to downtown Boston on Friday, April 19 “to stand united.” More than 10,000 people have already RSVPed to attend.

From the press conference just now:

Someone who had already seen their share of horror jumped in to help in the midst of a bloody tragedy and that he thought to bond with a woman at a marathon by showing her the damage done to his own body by weapons = all the tears.
